Prior to establishing the Seven Hills Group, I built an almost unique track record in equity and options trading on the US stock exchanges, achieving spectacular returns on my initial modest investment. I have utilized my exceptional skills at distilling financial information and price trends to create a portfolio of very high-performing stocks in the technology, finance and energy sectors.
In Education
I am the Chairman and Founder of the Katragadda Innovative Trust for Education (KITE), which is in the process of establishing corporate training centers for IT education nationwide in India. The Trust aims to have an impact on engineering education in India through cutting-edge technological education in two engineering colleges, as well as state-of-the-art training for future engineering faculty.
In Healthcare
I have diversified my business and made fair contributions in the healthcare services not only in USA but also in India.
Myself and my brother Krishna Prasad Katragadda gave $1 million between us to the Clinton Foundation for its work in combating AIDS, a project that is closest to the former President’s heart.
We have organized a Trust named "Katragadda Charities" and have spent few lakhs of rupees for providing free medical facilities to the villagers belonging to our native place.
Through our trust we are providing affordable Medical, Dental, and Eye Clinic setups to Chiluvuru village.
In Media
I have invested in several media startups. I am currently occupying the position of board of directors of several media firms such as [212] MEDIA, a New York City based media & entertainment conglomerate, Bod Vod - a Bollywood and South Asian programming video on demand distribution Company, and Phat Phish – a media company with subsidiaries in advertising, music, films, TV production and event management.
In Technology
My financial company invests and traders in the global markets. I have founded / has invested in over a dozen technological companies; as a businessman I have been an inspiration and mentor to several information technology startups.
I have co-founded and ran Smart Software, a fundamental financial data analysis company subsequently acquired by McGraw Hill. Smart Software was a global pioneer in the financial data analysis business and at the time of its inception, only one among four such service providers worldwide.
Through the flagship company of the group, Seven Hills Capital Management I have invested in Novire Technologies, which develops and manufactures GPS enabled tracking devices for the trucking industry.
I have made great efforts in making the government of Andhra Pradesh headed by Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to launch Rajiv Internet Village program from my village Chiluvuru in Duggirala mandal of Guntur district, helping villagers and farmers connect with experts and advisors across borders through internet.

Community Services
I have been involved in many philanthropic and social service activities.
My major achievement includes inviting Bill Clinton to TANA Conference, 2007 in Washington in an effort to motivate the Non Resident Indians to get involved in mainstream U.S politics.
I have a strong love and affection towards my village. I feel that people should love their motherland and village and they should make whatever little effort they can to contribute for the growth of it.

Charity & Contributions
I have donated $1 million to the Clinton Foundation for its work in combating AIDS, a project that is closest to the former US President’s heart.
Apart from my own contribution I have successfully mobilized couple of million dollars through TANA event, where I have arranged an interaction between former president Bill Clinton and Resident Telugu people and passed it over to the campaign kitty of Hillary Clinton.
Now I have been assigned a prominent role in the development of resident Telugu community in the US and also in the growth of TANA.
My brother and myself are contributing for the development of resident Telugu community in the US and also offering our valuable services for our village development. We have formed a trust by name “Katragadda Charities” and are spending lakhs of rupees for laying cement roads and for setting up various clinics like medical, dental and eye to meet the medical requirements of the people residing in our village. Because of the good work we are doing we have gained the respect and love of thousands of people belonging to our village.
